Holiday Portraits 2010 Making History

Saturday November 13, 2010 was our biggest first Saturday ever!  We had 12 people come out (7 of them in only 2 hours!) Santa was a huge success.  Thank you to all that came and helped us students raise money for our Portfolio Show next Fall. We will still be here until Tuesday, Nov. 23.  See you there!

We are located in beautifiul Lawrenceville, Ga off of Hwy 316 and Sugarloaf Pkwy.  The address is 5150 Sugarloaf Pkwy, Lawrenceville, Ga 30045.

As of right now, Gwinnett Tech Holiday Portraits 2010 will start in 15 minutes!  The set has been completed, lights set up, students trained on the operating procedures, signs hung, and camera batteries charged.  We are READY.  All we need is you!  Come see us at Gwinnett Tech, 5150 Sugarloaf Pkwy, Lawrenceville, Ga 30045 to get your picture taken.  And don't forget Santa will be here this Saturday.

The Set Is Coming Together

Today we worked on finishing up the set. Adding more snow, rearranging lights, and finally the test shoots. Thanks to Trent Chau for the photos!!



Final Touches

All upper quarter students need to be in class on monday! The set is in the last stages of being completed. Snow has fallen, but it needs to be arranged. Santa said we could borrow his sleigh, but we still have to decorate it, and lighting still has to be finalized. We also need to do some test shooting! Thank you everyone for putting forth a great effort in getting this project done. Below is the schedule for the Monday madness final touch ups:

Santa Claus is Coming To Town

Santa is coming to Gwinnett Technical College on Saturday, November 13, 2010! He will be here from 10:00am to 2:00pm for GTC Photo's Holdiay Portraits. So bring your kids, pets, and family to take pictures with Jolly Ol' St. Nick!

Set Update

The set is just about done. The sleigh is painted. Theres snow on the ground. Trees have taken root and the background has been hung and painted. All that is left is a few minor decorations on the sleigh and lighting/test shooting the entire set. Next Thursday will be here before we know it.
